Project 2 - Classroom Renovation (2018, Killinochchi) After seeing the teachers struggle to teach the kids with the poor facilities at the Vivekanantha Vithyalayam school in Killinochchi. I decided to renovate the classrooms and make it more convenient for the teachers and the kids. The idea was to turn the normal classrooms into smart classrooms. After the renovation the classrooms got new curtains, furniture, infrastructure and a fresh paint. It all started to look much more lively and comfortable. The highlight of all this was definitely the smartboard which replaced the typical blackboard. Seeing the kids enjoy learning at the new classrooms made all the hard work which went into it transformation worth it.
